There's something about standing on top of a mountain with the people you love most, the ocean stretched out below you and the light doing something magic — that's what this session is about.

We'll head up into Bouddi National Park, find a spot where the cliffs drop away to the sea, and let the kids run, the wind blow, and the golden light do the rest. No stiff poses, no "everyone look here" - just your family, being your family, with one of the most beautiful backdrops on the Central Coast behind you.

Golden hour wraps the riverbank in soft, golden light, letting every quiet cuddle, gentle laugh, and family moment glow with warmth—starting earlier brings harsh shadows that take away from the calm, natural beauty of your memories.

How do you handle kids who are shy or feeling big emotions?

Shy kids are my favourite. They often share the most heartfelt cuddles and genuine moments once they feel at ease. I begin gently, letting them explore the river’s edge, skip stones, or wander at their own pace while I connect with parents and build trust from a distance.

If big feelings come up—whether it’s nerves, frustration, or overwhelm—I meet them with calm patience and understanding. We slow things down, take a breath, and shift to something playful or comforting so they feel safe and in control. Those beautiful, connected moments always follow once they know there’s no rush.

Do you provide prints, frames or albums?

This package is for digitals only, however most clients do order at least one frame and/or album. I print with a professional lab that guarantees the print for 100+ years, archival quality and a money-back guarantee.
