And then there's Emily, the German Shepherd, who is perhaps enjoying the move most of all. With acres to explore instead of a backyard fence to patrol, she's embracing country life with the enthusiasm only a dog can muster. Of course, all that space comes with its own set of challenges. Emily has developed quite the talent for escape artistry, leading to numerous adventures that have poor Mum traveling miles across the countryside to collect her wandering companion.

Even these mishaps have become part of their story, woven into the fabric of their new life with the kind of humor that makes for great dinner table tales years down the track.
